Balance Complex is committed to making this site usable by people of every ability. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA across every page, every component, every state. The work is ongoing - a full third-party audit is planned - and we'd rather tell you where we are than overpromise.

What we already do.

• Semantic HTML. Headings nest in order. Buttons are <button>, links are <a>, forms have real <label> elements.
• Keyboard navigation. Every interactive surface is reachable by Tab, activated by Enter or Space, and exits cleanly with Escape. Focus rings stay visible.
• Screen-reader support. Alt text on every meaningful image. Decorative imagery is marked aria-hidden. Icon-only buttons carry an accessible name.
• Reduced motion. Animations and parallax respect prefers-reduced-motion and collapse to static states for visitors who request them.
• Color contrast. Coral, clay, and cream tokens were chosen against the WCAG AA 4.5:1 ratio on body copy and 3:1 on large text and UI controls.
• Responsive zoom. The layout holds up to 200% browser zoom without losing content or breaking interaction.

Where we're still working.

• Third-party audit. A formal WCAG 2.1 AA audit by an external accessibility firm is being scheduled. We will publish the findings - including any gaps - when the report completes.
• Captions on every video. Embedded reels and testimonial clips need captions; we're backfilling those.
• Skip-to-content link. Implemented on the storefront chrome; reviewing every route to make sure the focus order is consistent after navigation.
